As a Mechatronics Engineer at Hummingbird
Scientific, you'll be a part of a global engineering team. You’ll take full
ownership of designing and testing complete mechanical / mechatronics systems -
from initial concept through final release and product testing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/p>- Demonstrated
experience in designing, building and testing integrated mechatronics systems<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Strong
understanding of mechanical design principles (Kinematics, Dynamics, System
Design)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - 2D/3D CAD
expertise – SolidWorks or equivalent<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Proficiency with
mechanical drawings and GD&T<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Understanding of electronics, electronics
design, testing, and hands -on electrical systems implementation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Committed
individual who takes ownership of projects and timeline<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Education
and Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>- BS in Mechatronics or
Mechanical Engineering, MS or PhD is a plus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - 3–5 years of relevant experience in industry with product development and system design<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Professional experience in LabVIEW or equivalent
product software development<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span>Optional Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>- Background in precision engineering is a
plus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
