We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and support automated manufacturing equipment, with a strong focus on robotics and automation applications.
Responsibilities
Configure robots and establish automated set points using various robot programming languages.
Develop, implement, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Develop automation concepts and designs based on project requirements and specifications.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and complex automated system drawings.
Analyze engineering test results and implement corrective changes.
Support qualification and validation of automated systems.
Develop and maintain software, equipment documentation, and operating procedures.
Support hardware and software development for automation solutions.
Train technicians and operators on equipment, processes, and products.
Use power tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
Support continuous improvement and change-management activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
Experience in engineering, quality, production, or manufacturing operations.
Experience implementing, programming, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
Strong understanding of pneumatic systems and applications.
Experience with robotic/cobot integration.
Familiarity with robot platforms such as Fanuc, Staubli, ABB, or Kawasaki.
Ability to design automated systems according to specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of PLCs.
Experience with HMI software.
Vision-system integration within automated work cells.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
