You wheel a mobile robot into a test bay, power up your Python scripts, and start a full Design Verification cycle. In the morning, you run life-cycle and fatigue sequences on a custom-built fixture you designed last week. Midday, you validate sensor behavior and controls responses at the system level, capturing rich data for analysis. By afternoon, you’re dissecting a failed assembly, documenting root cause, and closing the loop with mechanical, electrical, and controls partners. Before you leave, you publish crisp findings and clear recommendations that move the design forward.
Symbotic’s A.I.-driven robotics platform is redefining how consumer goods flow through the supply chain. Our intelligent software coordinates fleets of advanced robots in a high‑density, end‑to‑end system—reinventing warehouse automation to deliver more efficiency, speed, and flexibility.
Robotics Test Engineering sits within Hardware Engineering and is accountable for proving out the robotic systems that power Symbotic’s platform. The group delivers design verification, durability and subsystem validation, and deep root cause analysis on mobile robot platforms. We partner closely with BOT Hardware as well as Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to mature designs quickly and lower field risk.
