SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Specialist for a on-siteopportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC.Candidate will support the administration and maintenance of an enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) environment, with a focus on Windows software deployment, operating system updates, hardware and software patching, and endpoint compliance. This role will help maintain secure and reliable IT systems while collaborating with technical support and systems teams to ensure devices remain current and aligned with organizational standards.
Required Qualifications of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Specialist:

- Associate degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM).
- At least 3 years of experience packaging and deploying software to Windows devices through MECM, including Bare Metal deployment and Software Center.
- At least 3 years of experience managing hardware and software patches using MECM and Dell Client System Inventory Agent.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft DNS and DHCP scope administration.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Active Directory Sites and Services.
- Must currently reside in South Carolina and be able to work fully onsite in Columbia, SC. Relocation is not available.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Specialist::
- Experience configuring and managing Microsoft AppLocker.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Group Policy and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Cloud Management Gateway.
- Experience with Recast Server and Right Click Tools.
Responsibilities of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Specialist:
- Administer and maintain the MECM environment, following established IT policies, procedures, and Microsoft best practices for software deployment and patch management.
- Package, deploy, and update Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, agency software, and hardware-related updates across servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals.
- Monitor patch compliance and software deployment activity, and prepare reports on application versions, installation status, and update levels across managed devices.
- Review AppLocker configurations and logs, recommend policy improvements, and monitor Cloud Management Gateway performance.
- Coordinate software upgrades and monthly patching activities based on vendor releases, security requirements, licensing standards, and hardware and software lifecycle schedules.
- Collaborate with desktop support and IT systems teams, participate in monthly endpoint technician meetings, and perform related duties as needed.
