Litigation Paralegal – Insurance Defense / Medical Malpractice

A well-established, high-performing litigation team is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in insurance defense and medical malpractice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases while supporting attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage case files and support attorneys through all phases of litigation
Obtain, review, and organize client documents, including electronic data and records
Prepare and manage document production, including bates labeling and redactions
Summarize medical records and bills; prepare medical chronologies and case summaries
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, subpoenas, and evidentiary materials
Conduct legal and background research using online and internal resources
Coordinate with expert witnesses, including selection, communication, and file review
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and third parties
Review and process vendor invoices and support case-related administrative functions
Qualifications:
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with insurance defense required
Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of litigation procedures, document production, and trial preparation
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred; relevant certifications a plus
