As a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and supervising the care provided to telemetry patients, ensuring that the highest standards of professional nursing are maintained.
- Develop and coordinate care plans for telemetry patients
- Supervise CNA/SNA or other healthcare workers as assigned
- Monitor cardiac drips and manage post-surgical cases
- Provide care to adult and geriatric patients
- Maintain active communication with healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and licensure
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN License
- BLS/CPR (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Must be fully COVID vaccinated (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
- Need 4 years experience in Med Surg/Telemetry setting
- Experience with reading monitors and cardiac drips
- Experience with adult and geriatric patients
