Position Title: Med Surg/Stepdown RN
Location: Marysville, CA 95901 United States
Duration: 8 weeks with high possibilities of extension
Work Schedule: Nights
Guaranteed hours: 48hrs
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Ensure patient safety while following hospital policies, infection control, and quality standards.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care Medical-Surgical unit.

- Telemetry/Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Strong patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration and discharge planning
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience using Epic EMR (preferred/required for this assignment)
- Active California RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- Dysrhythmia competency during orientation
- BSN: Preferred
- Acute care nursing experience: Preferred
