Bay Vista Commons is currently seeking Med Techs (Medical Technicians) who are Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nursing Assistants, or Certified Home Care Aides to join our team in our Assisting Living and Memory Care campus located in Bremerton. We have AM, PM, and NOC shifts available! Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available! 

*When working NOC shift as a Med Tech at Bay Vista Commons, you will also receive an additional $2.50/hr. shift differential*

Starting wage is $20.00/hr. up to $23.42 depending on related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR

A typical day looks like:   

  • Organize and pass medications, including insulin as prescribed to resident  
  • Observe and notify Nurse of any negative drug effects or interactions  
  • Accept responsibility for accurate medication counts and for security of the medication cart  
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility, as needed  
  • Engage with residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance  
  • Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, medication side effects, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences and report promptly to Director of Nursing  

  
 
We are looking for:   

  • People who have a genuine passion for working with the elderly  
  • Minimum 18 years of age  
  • Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant License, Nursing Assistant Registered or Home Care Aide Certification
  • High School Diploma/GED
