Delta Health is looking for a skilled Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you’ll perform a broad range of diagnostic tests that directly support accurate diagnoses and patient treatment across all age groups. What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our lab, you will:
Perform a wide array of testing in chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, immunohematology, microbiology, and more.
Conduct routine and complex analyses on blood, tissues, body fluids, and exudates.
Assess blood cell morphology and carry out chemical analyses for critical clinical insights.
Manage the full testing process—from sample collection and identification to analysis, instrument maintenance, and final result verification.
Accurately record and report results while troubleshooting abnormalities or equipment issues.
Communicate clearly with healthcare professionals, patients, and other departments.
Provide guidance and oversight to MLTs and MTs-in-training.
Step into department leadership responsibilities as needed.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science—or medical technology (accredited institution).
ASCP/HEW certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Technologist.
Hospital laboratory experience (1+ year preferred).
Strong technical skill, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing, pathology, physicians, and external partners.
