Job Description

Medallion Home Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our dedicated team. The Home Health Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting clinical staff, and promoting exceptional patient care. This leadership role works closely with interdisciplinary team members to drive quality outcomes, maintain efficient workflows, and foster a positive, patient-centered culture.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with home health experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance

Services and provides input and information into planning and evaluation of the home health agency to and with the Assistant Vice President Clinical Services. Assists with and is responsible for ongoing quality initiatives, chart audit coordination, patient care/staff coordination, and coordination of case record reviews. Assists the Assistant Vice President Clinical Services to ensure monthly staff trainings occur as well as assessing and assisting with ongoing staff educational needs.  Reviews all processes, policies, and procedures, on a yearly basis, to assure they are current and within or exceeding guidelines.  Verifies Medicare/insurance coverage of all clients referred to the agency.  Ongoing assessment of the agency and Medicare standards to ensure the agency is in compliance with federal and state regulations.  Facilitates training and orientation of new Team Members, and assists to facilitate advisory committee meetings.

Requirements

  • Must have an active nursing license in the state of Montana.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.

  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • Applicant must pass a background check.
  • Applicant must pass DMV check.

Experience

  • Associate's degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years
  • Registered Nurse with experience preferably with geriatrics and/or long term care.
