What You'll Do:
- Become a Camp Insider: Become familiarized with SLC's social media "voice" and style.
- Be a Video Storytelling Pro: Immerse yourself in the Surprise Lake Camp experience by attending camp activities and events. Shoot high-quality video content that showcases the fun, friendships, and excitement of camp life.
- Edit Like a Boss: Transform your footage into captivating social media posts optimized for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Content Brainstorming Champion: Help us develop creative content ideas that will resonate with our audiences.
- Social Media Savvy: Stay on top of the latest social media trends and suggest engaging strategies to keep our camp community connected year-round.
- Brand Storytelling Master: Help write copy for social media posts. Ensure all content aligns with Surprise Lake Camp's brand voice and messaging, to strengthen brand recognition and building trust with our community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Who You Are:
- A college student (rising junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (ideally with a love for summer camp!).
- A passionate and creative individual with a knack for storytelling and experience with social media marketing.
- Proficient in video editing software and comfortable with various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- A keen eye for detail with a strong understanding of visual aesthetics.
- An organized individual with the ability to manage content on a Digital Asset Management platform.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with creating content for specific target audiences (parents, staff, alumni, campers, donors).
- Knowledge of Jewish camp culture is a plus!
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
