A recognized entertainment organization on Long Island is actively seeking a new Quality Control Specialist to join their growing team in Nassau County. In this role, the Media Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring high standards for media content within the Broadcast & Technology unit, focusing on both digital and physical formats.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring quality control evaluation of program materials
Utilizing industry quality control procedures and guidelines
Providing accurate metadata entries and reports
Maintaining effective communication with internal departments
Reporting and documenting equipment issues
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Experience in technical evaluation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with time code, frame rates, resolutions, and digital file formats
Knowledge of Video/Audio broadcast standards
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with various management levels and departments
Adaptability to new technologies and workflows
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications and/or TV Production
Experience with the Evertz Mediator platform
Relevant work experience in Broadcast Television
