The Prince George’s County Police Departmentis currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Media Relations Manager (Administrative Specialist 3G)grade G33position, in the Media Relations Division.
About the Position
This is a senior level professional Manager position. Incumbent is responsible for overseeing marketing, public relations, and media relations of the Department. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for determining marketing strategies, ensuring communications with the news media, providing crisis media management, handling formal communications from the Assistant Chief of Police and overseeing the managers of other units within the Media Relations Division. This work is evaluated based on adequacy, accuracy and timeliness.
