Position: Media Specialist
Description
MIKEL is seeking a Media Specialist to support procurement, shipping/receiving of test materials and classified media to support Test and Evaluation events.
The Media Specialist will provide support for the System Engineering and Test teams at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI (NUWCDIVNPT) by maintaining inventory of, and checking in and out various classified and unclassified media (computer tapes, hard drives, printed material, or compact disks), from requests generated by emails, telephone and walk-in customer inquiries during laboratory operating hours, assisting in the categorization and inventory of duplicated media, inventorying, shipping and receiving various laboratory media, and assembling and packaging data collection kits for Naval submarine and surface ship use.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance or higher is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
