Media Supervisor
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $85k-110k
We are seeking a Media Supervisor to join a growing team within a growing, progressive agency in NYC (hybrid- flexible days of your choice in office). This role will be responsible for developing and executing media plans across various channels with a focus in digital and emerging media, managing media budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign goals. This role will play a key part in driving business growth and success for client while managing a team, guiding these individuals through the fundamentals of the planning process (inclusive of developing high level strategies, partner RFP/evaluation, negotiation, tactical plan development & execution, reporting & insights, optimization, billing, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on high level strategy development to inform cross-channel planning, digital focus
- Deliver evidence-based media solutions that are uniquely tailored to client’s objectives
- Guide the planning process and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverable commitments
- Provide daily counsel to clients and serve as a primary tactical liaison
- Take ownership of the team’s work, delegate and manage workflow; ensure quality control
- Supervise and develop team members; maintain always-on communication and coaching
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying
- 1+ year(s) of supervising direct reports
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with media planning, buying and technology platforms including MRI-Simmons, Prisma, Scarborough, Telmar, Vivvix, Comscore, Media Ocean, Nielsen, Pathmatics,
- Strong ability to interpret data and provide recommendations on strategies and tactics based on research findings
- Capability to handle multiple clients or brands as a supervising lead
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation
- Knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs) and marketing automation tools
- Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging media channels
