Medical Director requires:
- Malpractice Insurance, MD or DO, Psychiatrist, experience with substance abuse, children and adults, nonbias, flexible schedule, in person sessions.
- On-site at least once a week and likely two day
- Must have strong behavioral-health/healthcare experience (outpatient psychiatry, community mental health or similar clinical provider settings); prioritize applicants with prior work in nonprofit or community behavioral-health providers. –
- Must be a licensed M.D. or D.O., board-certified in child psychiatry (able to prescribe), with demonstrable expertise in child and adult psychiatry, medication management, substance-use/dual-diagnosis care, quality/compliance and telehealth/EMR workflows.
- 5+ years treating both populations and supervising psychiatric staff. –
- Must hold an active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain immediately) and show familiarity or direct experience with Detroit/Wayne County community mental health systems and populations; able to be on-site daily and navigate local payer/contract requirements.
- Require prior psychiatric/medical leadership in a multi‑site, community‑mental‑health or large nonprofit/health system able to coordinate agency‑wide services and supervise clinical staff.
