Description
Medical Appeals & Grievance Specialist Coordinator – Phoenix, AZ
Location- Phoenix, AZ
Duration- 4-Month Contract | W2
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Role Highlights:
• Review and resolve medical appeals, grievances, corrected claims, and member/provider inquiries
• Analyze medical records, benefits, policies, and medical necessity criteria
• Research and respond to high-volume healthcare correspondence
• Coordinate with providers, internal teams, and external agencies
• Maintain accurate records and meet quality/productivity standards
Requirements:
• 1+ year of clinical/health insurance experience
• Active, unrestricted AZ or Compact State RN license
• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Nursing Diploma
• Knowledge of MCG, InterQual, eviCore, or medical coverage guidelines preferred
Targeting Level I candidates.
