We're seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to become an essential part of our growing practice in West Melbourne, FL. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
  • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in EMR/EHR systems
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
  • Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic diagnostic tests as directed
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage front and back office workflow
  • Handle patient communications, including follow-up calls and care instructions
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a professional attitude
