Job Title: Medical Assistant 2
Location: Pinellas Park, FL 33781
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Schedule: Days, 5x8hrs, 40 hrs. weekly

Job Summary:
Medical Assistant with strong back-office clinical experience to support physicians and nurses in an outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, perform clinical procedures, and assist with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist patients during clinic visits.
  • Record patient history, symptoms, and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and collect lab specimens.
  • Administer injections and perform basic diagnostic tests.
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms.
  • Work closely with physicians and nurses to deliver quality patient care.
  • Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Required Experience and Qualification:
  • 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Active CMA or RMA Certification
  • Current CPR or BLS Certification
  • Phlebotomy experience (Required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and experience with MS Outlook
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) screening if selected
