JOB SUMMARY
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Heart & Vascular Center's Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Program seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to help grow our program. The UCSF team consists of highly experienced physicians, surgeons, APPs, nurses, social workers, medical and administrative personnel. Our MCS program is nationally known for cutting edge MSC support in both the outpatient and inpatient setting and offers a variety of support systems (long-term and short-term).
The Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting MCS patient care in accordance with federal, local, and internal standards, policies, and regulations. Duties include monitoring and managing patient equipment, monitoring and supporting patient selection by performing cognitive and motor tests, supporting patient care in MCS clinic.

Salary Information
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
