Medical Assistant / Medical Support Specialist (MSS)
Ongoing Contract5/4/26–7/10/26 (W2, Weekly Pay)
Location: Blaine, MN
Hours: M–F, 8a–5p

Overview: Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a high‑volume occupational health center. The MSS performs clinical procedures, diagnostic testing, and front‑office support under provider supervision. Must be comfortable with physicals, injury care, and fast‑paced workflow.

Responsibilities:

• DOT/Non‑DOT drug & alcohol testing
• Vitals, injections, vaccines, phlebotomy
• PFTs, audiograms, respirator fit testing
• Rapid tests (flu, strep, mono, glucose)
• Assist with exams, procedures, and injury care
• Apply dressings/splints; dispense meds/DME
• Equipment QA, calibration, and documentation
• Patient flow management & wait‑time communication
• Front‑office tasks: check‑in/out, phones, authorizations
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and clean clinical environment
  

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year MA experience
• Accredited MA program or 1+ year direct MA patient care
• Experience in fast‑paced medical settings
• HS Diploma or equivalent

• Front‑office experience
• Occupational medicine experience
