DownEast Orthopedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their clinical team. Candidates will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
Clinical duties may include:
Chart prep
Rooming patients
Recording vital signs
Recording medical histories
Drawing up injections
Suture removal
Cleaning/Prepping instruments for autoclave
Preparing patients for examinations
Anything a provider might need to assist them with patient care.
Candidate must be:
Patientcare focused
Be able to multi-task
Have attention to detail
Have excellent communication skills
Be a team player, but also function independently
Shift:
Monday-Friday, Days
