Medical Assistant - Bilingual Spanish – Pediatrics & General Practice

We’re seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to support a community health clinic serving pediatric and general practice patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly in both languages, and is confident with back-office clinical duties.

Greet and room pediatric and adult patients (English/Spanish), obtain/document vitals and histories, and assist providers during exams and procedures. Administer injections/immunizations and perform point-of-care testing as directed, complete venipuncture/blood draws and specimen handling, and document accurately in the EMR. Maintain clean/stocked exam rooms, support scheduling/referrals and patient follow-up, and ensure HIPAA compliance and smooth patient flow.

Pay Rate:   $24.00/hr
Schedule:  Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 5:30PM
Location:   Hollywood, CA (Los Feliz)

Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
•    Medical Assistant certification (current)
•    BLS certification (current)
•    1+ year Medical Assistant experience in a fast-paced clinic/medical office
•    Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and written)
•    Comfortable administering injections/immunizations (peds + adults)
•    Strong venipuncture/blood draw skills

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in Pediatrics and/or Family Medicine / General Practice / OB-GYN
•    Community Health Clinic / FQHC experience
•    EMR experience
•    Solid knowledge of medical terminology and infection control best practices
