JUNUH IN HOME AND HEALTHCARE LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team in Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities:

• Assist clinical staff with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and health information in EMR systems
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
• Administer medications and injections as directed by supervising healthcare providers
• Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic laboratory procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification a plus
• Previous clinical or in-home healthcare experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills
• Strong phlebotomy and vital signs assessment skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to quality care
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for in-home visits
