    Job Summary:
    The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, helping ensure smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations. This role performs essential hands-on tasks and supports both clinical procedures and front-desk activities to maintain high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist providers with patient exams and procedures.
    • Take vital signs and document patient information.
    • Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness.
    • Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
    • Administer medications as directed (where permitted).
    • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
    • Update and maintain medical records.
    • Provide patient education and support.
    • Manage front-desk tasks such as check-in, check-out, and phone calls.

     
    Required Skills:
    • Ability to perform basic clinical procedures.
    • Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
    • Accuracy in documentation and record management.

    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
    • Front-desk and scheduling experience.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

    Additional Skills:
    • Maintaining exam room cleanliness.
    • Administering medications where permitted.
    • Supporting patient flow throughout the clinic.
