    Presbyterian Medical Group's Cedar Multispecialty Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant I or Medical Assistant II to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while supporting providers across multiple specialties in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

    This position offers a built-in career ladder, allowing qualified candidates to be considered for either the Medical Assistant I or Medical Assistant II level based on experience and education. Medical Assistant I employees have the opportunity to progress to Medical Assistant II through completion of required training and competency requirements.

    Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days (United States of America)

    Responsibilities:

    *Responsible for performing medical assistant procedures after completion of competency within organizations MA scope of work, under the supervision of a provider and PHS policy.
    *Assists with procedures as determined by provider
    *Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
    *Basic foot care
    *May perform regulatory audits as designated by the Clinic Manger
    *Assists with visit closure
    *Participates with care team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner
    *May perform scribe duties after completing PMG scribe training
    *Performs other duties as directed


     

    Qualifications:

    • Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.
    • MedicalAssistantIIcandidatesmustpossesssix(6)monthsofMAexperienceorhavecompletedanaccreditedMedicalAssistantprogram.
    • Previoushealthcareexperiencepreferred.
    • SuccessfulcompletionofPresbyterianMAAdvancedSkillsTrainingwithin12monthsofhire.
    • CurrentBLScertification(AHA,RedCross,orASHIHealthcareProvider)required.
    • Abilitytomaintaincertificationsandcompleteallorganizational,departmental,andposition-specificcompetencyrequirementswithindesignatedtimeframes.
