How youll contribute
ACMA who excels in this role:
• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients. • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. • Documents patient care given. • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. • Maintains examination areas. • Performs administrative or clerical duties an assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have Certified Medical Assistant Certificate in the State of Michigan
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience:
One year related experience, preferred. One year clinic experience, preferred.
Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Basic Life Support (BLS).
