Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Cincinnati, OH 45248.

Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45248 
Float / Coverage Area: Only as necessary with provider – Montgomery, Auburn,
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $18 to $22/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments while maintaining efficient patient flow.

• Obtain and document vital signs, including pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, and weight.

• Update patient medical, social, and family histories, medication lists, and review-of-systems documentation.

• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Prepare patient charts by scanning, reviewing, and obtaining diagnostic results, hospital reports, and other relevant medical records.

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program.

• Current BLS- American Heart Association (AHA) certification.

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR, and scheduling systems.

• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Patient-facing experience and the ability to perform EKGs.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential patient information.
