Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by pulling notes before patient arrival, assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to support our daily clinical and administrative operations. You will work closely with our healthcare provider to ensure excellent patient flow, accurate documentation, and top-tier clinical care.  
  
Responsibilities 
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Assist our nurse practitioner and doctor with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, send prescriptions via EMR, and handle basic medical office duties (E-Clinical Works) 
  • Lab Work: Collect, label, and process specimens or blood samples for external testing. 
Qualifications
  • BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
