Are you a skilled Certified Medical Assistant looking to grow your career with a leading healthcare organization? J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced CMA to join an Adult Medicine Practice in Simsbury, CT. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

In this role, you'll work alongside a variety of specialty providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, helping deliver exceptional care to orthopedic patients.
Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to multiple providers
• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with providers and team members
• Schedule appointments and assist with administrative duties as needed
• Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
• Experience in a specialty or primary care office preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records; Epic experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts
• Start time: 7:45 AM
• Monday–Friday schedule
