Tristate Arthritis & Rheumatology is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Crestview Hills, KY. Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient exams, procedures, and rheumatology-specific treatments
• Room patients, record vital signs, and document medical histories in the EHR system
• Prepare and administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
• Coordinate lab orders, diagnostic testing, and prior authorizations
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely clinic operations
• Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care, test results, and appointment scheduling
• Maintain clean, stocked, and properly sanitized exam rooms

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred
• Previous clinical or medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong phlebotomy and injection administration skills
• Excellent communication and patient-facing interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a reliable team player
