Shift & Schedule:
Mixed Day Shifts
Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a short-term assignment in an occupational health and clinic setting in Dobson, NC. This role involves supporting both clinical and administrative operations while delivering excellent patient care and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience with patient interaction, clinical procedures, phlebotomy, and front office responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and room patients for appointments
- Take and record vital signs and patient information
- Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and specimen collection
- Administer vaccines as needed
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
- Answer phones and assist with front office duties
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Provide clinical and administrative support to the healthcare team
- Collaborate effectively with providers and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience (including externship)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in an occupational health or clinic environment
