Immediate Medical Assistant position available for our physician practice group in East Hills/Roslyn. Experience with Family Medicine or Primary Care a plus!
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Work Schedule:
9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
8:00am - 4:00pm (Friday)
Responsibilities:
Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
Assist at front desk as needed, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient check in/out, insurance verification and chart preparation
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 6 months MA experience
BLS Certification
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
