Under the supervision of an RN, the Employee Health Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting the Employee Health Nurse in providing employee health services. The employee health medical assistant uses established protocols and current standards that are set by the Medical Director of Employee Health. This position is responsible for assisting the employee health nurse for new hire onboarding, annual requirements and other special projects. This position assists the employee health nurse in coordinating the job-related injury process. This position manages clerical tasks for employee health needs. Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal laws. Performs duties in accordance with OSUMC's values and care expectations.
