Medical Assistant - Flex Shift - Dickson TN

Currently we are searching for a Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional Addiction Healthcare organization based out of Dickson, TN

 

·              Start date: ASAP

·              Contract length: 6 months with potential to hire

·              Local Pay Rate: $18 – $20 an hour

·              Schedule: FLEX SHIFT - Friday 7 am to 7 pm / Saturday and Sunday 7 pm to 7 am (3x12s)

·              Benefits: Weekly Pay, Medical, Dental, Vision

Job Duties:

·              Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily. 

·              Perform point of care testing.

·              Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets.

·              Maintain detailed records in EMR systems.

·              Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens. 

·              Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner. 

·              Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues.

·              Assist with observing medications as needed.




We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·              High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

·              Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant required.

·              Must have a compassionate attitude with excellent customer service skills.

·              Must have reliable transportation to get to work on time

·              CPR, First Aid/AED certification required.

·              CNA or MA certification preferred but not required.
