THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ONSITE IN TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
Bracane Company is seeking qualified Medical Assistants for an anticipated full time federal healthcare assignment in Tallahassee, Florida. Two positions are available.
The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support in an onsite institutional healthcare environment. Candidates should be comfortable working within established healthcare procedures, maintaining accurate medical documentation, supporting patient care, and operating in a professional and secure setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with routine patient care and clinical activities.
- Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and other required clinical data.
- Prepare patients for examinations and healthcare procedures.
- Assist with patient intake and clinical workflow.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper medical records.
- Support healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and routine clinical procedures within the permitted scope of practice.
- Assist with the collection and processing of clinical information and documentation.
- Maintain appropriate infection control and patient safety procedures.
- Prepare and maintain clinical rooms, supplies, and equipment.
- Protect confidential patient and medical information.
- Follow applicable healthcare, safety, security, and facility procedures.
- Maintain professional conduct while working in a secure institutional healthcare environment.
Schedule and Work Location
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.
The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday for up to 40 hours per week.
Typical work hours are generally:
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; or
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
The precise schedule may vary based on operational requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of two years of documented Medical Assistant experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school or program.
- Current Medical Assistant certification as required for the assignment.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and confidential healthcare information.
- Ability to successfully complete required background, security, and facility access screening.
- Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.
Compensation
$18.50 to $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
