    We're hiring friendly, skilled, and patient‑centered Medical Assistants to join our growing AFC Urgent Care teams in West Chester and Malvern.     About the Role

    As a Medical Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the patient experience from the moment they walk through the door until they leave with clear instructions and confident care. You'll work in a collaborative, high‑volume urgent care environment where your skills and compassion make an immediate impact every day.

    What You'll Do

    • Welcome and room patients, obtain accurate histories, and record vital signs
    • Assist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, testing, and treatments
    • Perform CLIA‑waived lab testing, collect and process specimens, and maintain quality control
    • Administer medications, injections, and vaccines under provider supervision
    • Conduct EKGs, point‑of‑care testing, and other diagnostic support tasks
    • Draw blood for lab testing as ordered
    • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
    • Prepare and maintain clean, well‑stocked exam rooms
    • Support efficient patient flow in a fast‑paced environment
    • Perform drug screenings and provide patient education and discharge instructions
    • Collaborate with providers and teammates to deliver seamless care
    • Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance standards

    What You Bring

    • Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training
    • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or other fast‑paced settings (preferred)
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective under pressure
    • Excellent communication and a compassionate, patient‑first mindset
    • A positive, dependable, team‑oriented attitude
