About the Role:
Mina Abadeer DPM PC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our podiatry practice in Hackensack, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your clinical career in a patient-focused environment where your contributions truly make a difference every day.



Responsibilities:

• Assist the podiatrist with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs and medical histories
• Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and exam room supplies
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals
• Handle patient check-in/check-out and verify insurance information
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)
• Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care and instructions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with podiatry or specialty medical practice is a plus
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
