Description
Immediate Medical Assistant contract position available for our physician practice group in Howard Beach, NY. Experience with Family Medicine or Primary Care a plus!
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr

Work Schedule:
- 10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
- 4 days per week
- Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
- Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, if needed
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 6 months MA experience
- BLS Certification
- Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- EPIC system experience a plus
