    Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for FT Days Medical Assistant 

    Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Baptist MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Clinic at Baptist South, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days position with shifts Monday-Friday from 8-5 p.m.Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center combines the clinical breakthroughs of the number one cancer center in America and the full resources of North Florida’s largest and most preferred health system. Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant include:

    -Providing nursing assistance to the physician and APP.-Obtaining vital signs, weights, and heights.-Greeting and chaperoning patients as needed during medical visits.-Documenting in the medical record as indicated per role. Responsible for sending treatment start and stop letters to referring physicians.-Conducting HCG tests as needed, processing requests, referrals, and helping with FMLA paperwork.-Cross training with the Medical Records Coordinator and assisting as and where needed.-Floating/rotating between clinics as needed.

    Education & Credential Requirements: 

    • High School Diploma Required

    • Basic Life Support (AHA) Required

    • Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
