Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, dependable, and skilled Medical Assistant to join our growing dermatology practice. This position is ideal for an individual looking for stable, long-term employment and opportunities for professional growth within our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting physicians during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate patient records (EHR, EMR).
  • Providing pre- and post-surgery care, including obtaining consents, dressing changes, and suture removal.
  • Processing prescriptions, refills, and prior authorizations promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinating communication with patients and primary care physicians.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and readiness of examination rooms and medical instruments.
  • Managing inventory of medical supplies and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Consistently communicating professionally, promptly, and reliably with patients.
Qualifications:
  • Integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to learn quickly and function according to established practice procedures.
  • Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health / Medical Record (EHR / EMR) systems.
  • Proficiency in health insurance processes, prior-authorizations, and prescription management.
  • Caring, compassionate, and positive attitude towards patients.
  • Team-oriented, with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Professional conduct and appearance. 
Compensation: Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.


Schedule: Full-time position, typical hours Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility required.
