Role Description The Medical Assistant Instructor is a part-time, on-site role based in Newnan, GA. This position is responsible for delivering classroom and lab instruction in medical assisting, including clinical and administrative procedures, to prepare students for entry-level healthcare roles. Day-to-day tasks include planning and updating lesson plans, teaching medical terminology and basic medical concepts, demonstrating hands-on skills, supervising practice activities, and assessing student progress through tests, assignments, and skills check-offs. The instructor will also provide constructive feedback, support student success, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with school staff to ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards and certification requirements.

• Candidates should possess proficiency in Medical Terminology to teach accurate language used in healthcare settings.

• Current or recent experience as a medical assistant or related healthcare professional; certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA) preferred.

• Previous teaching, training, or precepting experience in healthcare settings is highly beneficial.

• Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction.

• Ability to use basic educational technology for presentations, documentation, and student tracking.
