    About the Position

    \n

    Community Care College is seeking an experienced and student-focused Medical Assistant Instructor to deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for careers in the healthcare field.

    \n

    The instructor will monitor individual student progress, provide additional support and direction when needed, and create an encouraging learning environment centered on skill development and student success.

    \n


    \n

    This is a full-time hybrid position combining on-campus and remote work. The schedule includes some day and evening hours.

    Essential Responsibilities

    \n

    • Deliver outcomes-focused, hands-on instruction aligned with the Medical Assistant curriculum

    \n

    • Monitor, document, and support individual student progress

    \n

    • Provide coaching, additional instruction, and academic direction as needed

    \n

    • Create an engaging, professional, and inclusive learning environment

    \n

    • Demonstrate and reinforce safe, ethical, and effective healthcare practices

    \n

    • Maintain clear communication with students, faculty, and campus leadership

    \n

    • Model the Community Care College C.A.R.E.S. philosophy and organizational values

    \n

    Minimum Qualifications

    \n

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    \n

    • Valid RMA, CMA, or another recognized national healthcare certification

    \n

    • Three to five years of Medical Assistant experience

    \n

    • Strong coaching, teaching, and student development skills

    \n

    • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills

    \n

    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

    \n

    • Strong presentation, public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills

    \n

    • Demonstrated creativity, initiative, resilience, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm

    \n

    • Commitment to diversity and excellence in career-focused education

    \n

    Preferred Qualifications

    \n

    • Associate degree

    \n

    • Experience in adult education, student development, or program administration

    \n
