Full-Time Medical Assistant
\nSmall, High-Quality Concierge Rheumatology Practice
\nWe are looking for a warm, personable, reliable Medical Assistant to join our small, low-volume concierge rheumatology practice.
\nOur focus is on providing high-quality, personalized care rather than seeing a large number of patients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a calm, close-knit environment, wants to learn new skills, and is interested in growing with a small practice.
\nSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
\nPay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience
\nResponsibilities
\n• Provide warm, personalized patient care and build strong patient rapport
\n• Assist with both clinical and front-office duties
\n• Room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with intake forms
\n• Perform blood draws/phlebotomy
\n• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and communicate with patients
\n• Assist with check-in/check-out and general office tasks
\n• Assist with prior authorizations and insurance-related tasks
\n• Help manage our small in-house pharmacy
\n• Prepare and coordinate a limited number of monthly specialty medication prescriptions for our own patients
\n• Learn new clinical, administrative, pharmacy, and practice-management skills
\n• Multitask and help wherever needed in our small practice
\nIdeal Candidate
\n• Friendly, compassionate, professional, and dependable
\n• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work
\n• Comfortable wearing many hats and working independently
\n• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n• Comfortable with phlebotomy/blood draws
\n• Pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required
\n• Eager to learn, adaptable, and a fast learner
\n• Willing to learn new tasks, systems, and workflows
\n• Interested in developing new skills and growing with the practice
\n• Enjoys providing an exceptional, personalized patient experience
\nWhy join us?
\nThis is not a high-volume medical office. We prioritize quality, attention to detail, and meaningful patient relationships. You will work closely with the physician in a calm, personalized environment and have the opportunity to learn a broad range of clinical, administrative, and pharmacy-related skills.
\nOur in-house pharmacy handles only a small number of monthly specialty medication prescriptions for our own patients. Pharmacy experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and picks up new skills quickly.
\nPlease submit your resume and a brief introduction through Indeed. We look forward to learning more about you.
