CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our CCP Now Lansdale, PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned provider daily
• Support the patient triage process
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform EKGs and limited ultrasound, as needed
• Follow up on lab results
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with precertification/billing process
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare discharge assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA) 
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Phlebotomy experience preferred, not required
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
