Immediate need for a talented Medical Assistant (local Candidate). This is a 13 Weeks Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Novato, CA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: Regular Pay: $21/hr (On successful completion of scheduled hours)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document symptoms and medical history.
  • Record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Administer injections and immunizations as directed by the provider.
  • Assist physicians during medical procedures.
  • Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and required quality control procedures.
  • Manage lab results, prescription requests, referrals, and patient communications.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Clean and disinfect exam rooms and clinical areas between patients.
  • Assist with clinic inventory, supply management, and daily clinic upkeep.
  • Reprocess scopes and probes after competency completion.
  • Sterilize instruments and operate an autoclave.
  • Follow OSHA and safety guidelines while supporting additional clinic duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Active Medical Assistant certification (NHA, AMCA, or equivalent accredited program).
  • Active BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office or clinical setting (equivalent training and experience may be considered).
  • Reprocessing/procedural experience is highly preferred.
  • Active state license/certification required, where applicable.
  • Local candidates only.
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks 
  • Shift: 8 hr Day
  • Scheduled Hours: 40 hours [Hours per Facility]
