Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office clinical support, including patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, and EMR documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Hands-on phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.

• EMR experience.

• Experience performing EKGs, POC testing, and vaccine administration.

• Current BLS or CPR certification.

• Strong computer, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with patients ages 2 and older.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-office and back-office clinical support.

• Greet, check in, room, and obtain vital signs for patients.

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines according to established protocols.

• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.

• Schedule appointments and assist with administrative tasks.

• Answer phones and assist patients with inquiries.

• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in the EMR.

• Support fee collection and health center dispensing workflows.

• Provide clinical and administrative support to the healthcare team.

• Assist with health education and outreach activities.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
