  • Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: None
Holiday Requirement: As required

Pay Rate: Up to $24/hr

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a skilled Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations within a healthcare setting. This role involves patient intake, clinical assistance, scheduling, and ensuring smooth clinic workflow while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls
  • Record patient vitals accurately
  • Perform phlebotomy and blood draws
  • Administer vaccines as required
  • Assist with EKG and point-of-care (POC) testing
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
  • Support both front and back office operations
  • Ensure efficient patient flow and clinic operations
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
  • Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
  • EMR system experience required
  • BLS or CPR certification required
  • Occupational Health experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
