Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Medical Assistant (MA)  - Pediatrics 

Position Highlights:

•   Sign on Bonus $1,500Position: Medical Assistant
•     Location: Evanston, ILFull Time/Part Time: Full Time
•     Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating hours between 7am – 7pm with rotating Saturdays between 7:30am – 1pmRequired Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs

  What you will do:

•     Greet patients and escort them to exam roomDocument vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
•     Provide front office support as neededPerform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
•     Phlebotomy and injections may be requiredWhat you will need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
•     Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.  On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience. 
•     Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
