Medical Assistant (MA) – Per Diem

This occupational health surgical center focuses on caring for patients recovering from work-related injuries. The practice relies on a flexible, on-demand clinical team to staff surgical cases and recovery care as needs arise, and is building a dependable bench of clinicians who want steady, well-supported per-diem work.

The Medical Assistant supports clinical flow - rooming patients, taking vitals, and drawing IVs - with particular need on Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Room patients and take vital signs.
• Start IVs, with especially high demand on Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Assist clinicians with procedures and patient prep.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support general clinic flow and light clerical tasks as needed.

• Active CMA/RMA certification or equivalent MA training.
• Current BLS certification.
• Comfortable and confident performing IV starts.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, short-notice environment.

• Shifts are typically posted the evening before, often for an early-morning (around 7:30 AM) start.
• Most shifts run up to 8 hours; some are shorter, targeted evening shifts (5:00 PM 9:00 PM), which are especially welcomed.
• A break is provided before the shift concludes.
• Shift availability varies by day - clinicians who can flex across the week have the best access to open shifts.

• All PPE and shift-specific supplies are provided on-site - no need to bring your own equipment.
• A supportive, experienced surgical and clinical team.
• Clear shift expectations communicated in advance.

Competitive, per-shift pay - rate is confirmed at the time each shift is posted and accepted.
